Bat Ray - Myliobatis californica
The Bat Ray, (Myliobatis californica) is an Eagle Ray found in muddy or sandy sloughs, bays, kelp beds and rocky-bottomed shorelines in the eastern Pacific Ocean. The largest specimens can grow to a wingspan of (5 ft 11 in) and a mass of 91 kg (201 lb). They more typically range from (20.0–30.0 lb). Bat rays are can live in a wide range of salinities.
This is a healthy California Bat Sting Ray. Sizes will vary but generally are from 8 -15 inch wingspan. We deliver to Arizona, California, Utah, and Nevada for a fixed cost. Bat Rays feed off of crabs, squid, shrimp, clams. It is recommended to use cleaned squid for feeding. It is not recommended to mix bat rays with agressive species such as banded cat sharks.
