Have had this pump for quite sometime now on my Ice Cap K120 by Coralvue. Its a pretty quiet pump, they do sell a shaft that is an upgrade to make it more quite if you want even less noise. The pump is reliable, just be really careful when pulling the impeller out to do a spring cleaning or you will snap it easily like I did.
